  1. Amazing!
Amber and Brian I am fan of your work and Deep Wood is another masterpiece — my daughter and I had a wonderful experience and look forword to many more. I am grateful the many small treasures that make Columbus remarkable and you are a part of what makes it happen.

  2. After hearing of Deep Wood’s amazing food, my wife (singer/songwriter Lydia Brownfield) and I decided we would test owner Amber Herron’s stock of single malt scotch. Lydia’s father (painter/sculptor Sal Brownfield) was in town from Atlanta and is the largest scotch-snob in North America. We started out at the bar for the now-famous 4-7pm drink and food specials and were blown away by the value. The fries, panini-thing-of awesomeness, etc. were stellar. The drinks were amazing as well, like the “Dark and Stormy” and “Doctor’s Order.” We HAD to stay for dinner at that point, and were lucky to have David as a server. The rabbit, cornish game hen, and lamb dishes we all shared were sumptuous, and we will likely be back Friday night for more of the same..
